Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted to Arkara: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat are subject to plagiarism screening using reliable plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin or similar tools. The journal maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Any manuscript found to contain substantial plagiarism will be rejected immediately.

Authors are strongly encouraged to conduct a plagiarism check before submitting their manuscripts to the journal. The similarity index of submitted manuscripts should not exceed 20%, excluding properly cited quotations, references, and commonly used terms. Authors are also advised to recheck their revised manuscripts for similarity before resubmission to ensure compliance with the journal’s ethical standards.

Plagiarism refers to the use of another person's ideas, words, data, or intellectual work without proper acknowledgment, citation, or permission, and presenting them as one’s own. It may occur in various forms, including direct copying, inappropriate paraphrasing, unauthorized use of data, or failure to provide adequate references to original sources.
